Terms of Use
The platform is free and serves vocational education in the olive sector. Use your own account, respect other users and the licences of the materials. Micro-credentials are awarded under the rules of the ELIA Certification Framework. Applying for an apprenticeship or study visit does not guarantee a place.
1. About the platform
The ELIA Learning Platform is operated by Konistra d.o.o., Doverska 13, 21000 Split, Croatia, on behalf of the ELIA consortium (Erasmus+, Grant Agreement No. 101260687). By creating an account you accept these Terms of Use. The platform is free of charge.
2. Your account
- The platform is intended for learners, trainers and professionals aged 16 and over.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Your name appears on your micro-credentials.
- Your account is personal. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account.
- Trainer, coordinator and administrator accounts are created only by the platform administrator at the request of an ELIA partner organisation.
3. Acceptable use
Use the platform lawfully and respectfully. In particular, do not:
- post content that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or infringes the rights of others;
- share other people's personal data without their permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or upload malicious files;
- cheat in quizzes or assessments, or let someone else complete them for you;
- use the platform for advertising or commercial purposes unrelated to ELIA.
4. Learning materials and licences
Unless stated otherwise in a course, learning materials produced by the ELIA project are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence (CC BY-SA 4.0). You may reuse and adapt them if you credit the ELIA project and share adaptations under the same licence. Materials from other sources are marked with their own licence, which you must respect.
Course content is prepared by ELIA partner organisations, which are responsible for its accuracy. Content is provided for learning purposes and does not replace professional advice.
5. Content you post
You remain the author of the forum posts, messages and assignments you submit. You allow the platform to store and display them to the users of the course or forum where you post them. You are responsible for what you post. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
6. Micro-credentials
Micro-credentials (digital badges) are awarded when you meet the completion and assessment criteria of a course, as set out in the ELIA Certification Framework and shown in the course. Each badge states the EQF level, workload and ECTS. Recognition of a micro-credential for a formal qualification is decided by the competent national authorities and education institutions. We may revoke a badge awarded by error or obtained by cheating.
7. Apprenticeships and study visits
ELIA partner organisations publish opportunities on the platform and decide on applications. The platform only passes your application to the partner and the host organisation. Applying does not guarantee a place. The terms of an apprenticeship or study visit are agreed between you, the partner organisation and the host organisation.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep the platform available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content. The platform may be unavailable for maintenance. To the extent permitted by law, Konistra and the ELIA partners are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the platform. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Suspension and deletion
You can delete your account at any time in your profile under Data privacy. We may suspend or delete an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, after notice where possible.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms as the project develops. You will be asked to accept the new version at your next sign-in.
11. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Croatian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Split, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
12. EU funding
Co-funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.
